The mission of the Nebraska Chapter of ASTD is to enhance member’s abilities to train, develop and support clients, organizations and our associated communities. Survey results from our chapter members indicate a strong need for professional development for advanced training professionals, consultants and training managers.
Programs provided will give an opportunity for members to network, share ideas and reconnect with the training industry. Information covered should provide key take-aways for members to apply to their individual business needs.

Proposal Submission Guidelines
- Proposal must be submitted by downloading the Request for Proposal form (click the Word document link below).
- If submitting more than one proposal, please complete a separate Request for Proposal form.
- Refrain from selling from the podium.
- All RFPs must be received no later than September 16, 2011.
- Only proposals meeting these guidelines will be included in the review process.
Timeframe
The 2012 programs will run from January through November, with exception to June and July, and will be held on the 2ndWednesday of the month at the Scott Conference Center located at 6450 Pine Street. We will hold a combination of morning, noon, and evening meetings. Each program will be scheduled according to the availability of the speaker and best fit of topic determined by our Programming Committee. Each monthly program is two hours in lengths which includes networking time and a one-hour presentation that includes time for activity and questions. Based on topic and membership need, a two or three hour workshop may be provided after the one-hour program.
