Each year, we take time to review our Bylaws to ensure we are following them, that they are relevant and to maintain accuracy. This review is a 4-step process:
1. The Executive Council reviews the Bylaws and offers edits.
2. The Board of Directors reviews the Bylaws and offers edits.
3. The edits are posted for Members to view for 30 days.
4. The Membership votes on the changes.
We are on step #3 right now…that means we need your help. The bylaws are seen here in three different formats for your convenience. The first document gives you an overview of where the major changes are in the document. The second document shows you the edits the Board is proposing. The third document shows you how the text will read if the edits of the Executive Council are accepted. Please take a detailed look at the Bylaws and if you have feedback, suggestions, changes, please send them to Christine Hitchcock at presidentelect@astdnebraska.org. To ensure your voice is heard, we will need your thoughts by February 29th.
