The mission of the Career Center is:
To enhance our membership's ability to successfully advance professionally within the Training and Development career field.
In order to fulfill this mission, the Career Resources Committee provides the following services to ASTD Nebraska members:

Job Post & Job Search - The committee partners with Omaha metro area and out-of-area employers to place the most current job opportunities directly onto our website and into our newsletter. To submit your career opportunity, all you need to do is contact our Director of Career Services. Send an email with your Job Posting attached to directorcareerresources@astdnebraska.org.

CPLP Preparation - The Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) credential provides a way for workplace learning and performance professionals to prove their value to employers and to be confident about their knowledge of the field.

Mentoring - Structured, yet informal, voluntary program. Members seeking the opportunity to partner with a senior or junior member are supported and guided through the mentor relationship by qualified program coordinators.

Resume Critique Services - We provide a personalized resume critique based upon the latest trends in hiring and the Training and Development career field. You will receive insight and edits that will allow you to polish your resume and increase your abilitiy to compete with other candidates in the job market.
