Volunteer -ASTD Nebraska offers a wide variety of committees and projects with which you can be involved! Do you like updating websites? Join our Web Team! Love education? Be a part of the Education Committee! Volunteering with ASTD Nebraska is fun! Get to know other members and use your own talents in creative ways while learning new skills in a safe environment!
Networking - Meet other training and development professionals representing premier area employers, academic institutions and vendors.
Personal and Professional Development - Expand your self-development opportunities through monthly programs, chapter sponsored workshops and seminars. Sharpen your training skills and become informed about current trends and issues.
Special Interest Groups - Interact regularly with people who share you interest in specific training and development topics. Enhance and refine your skills by becoming involved in special training areas.
Mentoring - Be a mentor: give back by sharing your expertise with other and enhance your own leadership, teaching and coaching skills. Be a mentee: continue your professional growth by enriching your knowledge and skills while receiving guidance from an expert. Proposal for Programs - The mission of the Nebraska Chapter of ASTD is to enhance member’s abilities to train, develop and support clients, organizations and our associated communities. Programs provided will give an opportunity for members to network, share ideas and reconnect with the training industry.
ASTD National - Gain access to resources provided to the chapter by ASTD National, including information regarding national conferences and directories of resources. For more information, contact ASTD National.
Individual Contributions - Participate in small and/or large group activities which allow you to share your expertise as well as promote training and development throughout the community. If you have any questions, you may contact the Director of Member Involvement.
