| Evaluating Training Programs: The Four Levels with Don Kirkpatrick (LUNCH ONLY) - This topic includes the major elements of the Kirkpatrick Four Level Evaluation Model that Dr. Don Kirkpatrick developed 50 years ago. Dr. Kirkpatrick begins with a summary of the classic ten requirements of an effective program. He then explains the four levels through use of a pre- and post-quiz, evaluation forms, case studies, and colorful illustrations from his own work. This is a rare opportunity to learn from the master!

| Training on Trial: The Urgent Need to Become a Strategic Business Partner with Jim Kirkpatrick (Workshop Only) - In 1959, Don Kirkpatrick wrote four articles that soon after became known as the Kirkpatrick Four Levels of Evaluation. It is a widely known fact that this model is the global standard in the workplace learning and performance industry. What isn’t widely known is that in those original articles 50 years ago, Don wrote the words, “Training managers had better learn to evaluate their programs in relation to the needs of the business before the day of reckoning arrives.”

| ASTD Nebraska Presents: ASTD National ROI Skill Building Certificate Program - Participants will build the skills needed to develop and deliver effective return-on-investment (ROI) evaluations for learning and performance, organizational development, human resources, technology, change, and quality solutions.

The program emphasizes the Phillips ROI Methodology and participants learn to apply the ROI Process Model–a results-based method for developing application impact objectives, developing data collection plans, collecting various types of hard and soft data, isolating the effects of the program, converting data to monetary values, tabulating appropriate program costs, calculating return-on-investment, and identifying intangible benefits. Participants are asked to bring a real-time project to maximize transfer of learning by enabling them to build their skills with an example relevant to their professional responsibilities.
